The transcription of the lyrics above, Blue Savannah, a beautiful theme song, I chose to be the name of my Cattery is explained as it follows:

The savanna is a flat region where vegetation is predominantly grasses with sparse trees and shrubs alone or in small groups.

Typically, the savannahs are transition zones between forests and meadows. The savanna biome is typical of tropical regions with dry (WIKIPEDIA-Aw and As in the classification of Köppen).

More than 35 species live there, a range of large mammals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, antelopes, buffalo ... These zones are in different types of ecosystems and their types are: tropical and subtropical savannas, located in tropical and subtropical latitudes of the five continents.

They are characterized by:

Water: Scarce (semi-arid)

Temperature: two seasons - a hot and dry and wet seasons.

Soil: fertile

Plants: grasses, are not frequent the concentrations of trees.

Animals: different species of mammals, birds and insects.

Biological Communities are, or populations of organisms Fauna and Flora, interacting and interacting with the physical environment also called Biotope (Wikipedia).

The choice of the name of our Cattery is due to the richness of Savannah in large animal species, with big cats, combined with the beauty of the beautiful, sublime and impressive music and melodic song Blue Savannah from Erasure, which have been in my mind, since I listened it for the first time ...!

Amazingly, I never had cats before!

I have been gradually falling in love for these animals through the internet, until in 2006, driven by the passion of the beautiful blue eyes, I ended up buying a Himalayan Persian cat named Monique Charleville.

She captivated me! She was growing day by day and getting involved in such a way with her sweetness, her kindness, so I decided to start breeding cats Persian, Exotic and Himalayan.

Our cattery is located in São Paulo / Capital - Brazil started with a small operation, which grew and became recognized, our initial proposition: is to create healthy cats, of great structure, sweet, caring, excellent temperament and above all, focused on quality standards, reaching an excellence goal, in the creation of cats.

All our dams and sires are negative for feline PKD by DNA testing, and ongoing veterinary care.
